The best way to get to know WestSide is to join us for Sunday worship. Whenever we come together, we are made new in Christ, so if you are new to WestSide, you will fit right in.
We invite you to join us for one of our Sunday worship services at 9 or 10:30 am.
We want you to feel welcome and at home. We know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions. So ask us anything! E-mail Pastor Heidi at email@example.com.
What should I do first?
Before visiting WestSide, we recommend you visit wslc.info. This lets you see what’s happening in worship, what events are coming up, sign up for groups and activities, and more. Add it to your device's home screen to access it anytime!
What will worship be like?
Worship at WestSide is for all ages, so expect a worship service that adapts to the needs of multi-generations. There are busy bags for little hands and comfortable seats for tired legs. You'll sit next to some folks who have been coming to church their whole lives and others who are walking into a church for the first time in maybe decades.
There are two identical services at 9 and 10:30 am. The service itself is an uncomplicated time, rooted in a traditional pattern of worship that includes song, prayer, scripture, Christ-centered preaching, and sacraments. At its simplest, it's a time for sinners to hear Good News, something we all need.
What should I wear?
We’re more interested in meeting you than with what you wear to church. Some dress up, lots dress down. Whatever works for you, is great with us!
How do I get there?
WestSide Lutheran is located at 3901 N Oklahoma Ave, Sioux Falls SD 57107, at the corner of Benson and Marion Roads with the entrance on Oklahoma Ave. Click here for directions.
Will I be called out as a guest?
Whenever we come together, we are made new in Christ, so if you are new to WestSide, you will fit right in. No, we’re not going to call you out and make you wave, stand up, or dance. We will ask you, like we ask everyone attending, to fill out the Connection Card in your row. It’s a great way for us to get to know you.
